The Purpose Events team has over 60 years of event experience.  Megan Antonelli and Joe McConnell have held senior management positions at the largest conference organizers including Informa, UBM, World Congress, Informa/Kinect365, IQPC, Financial Times, and Information Management Network.  In that time working on some of the largest and well-known industry events in the world including World Healthcare Congress, World Health Information and Technology Congress, Partnerships in Clinical Trials, National Managed Health Care Congress, ePharma Summit and more.

In 2012, the Purpose Events team took their brand of no-nonsense event management on their own and launched the HealthIMPACT Forum. Chaired by the incredible Shahid Shah this event is known as the NO BS event where Health IT leaders come to #GSD.  The event has run over fifty times in the nation’s largest healthcare markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco, and Miami.  It is widely recognized for its high-level attendees, thought-provoking content, and interactive format.

In 2017, Purpose Events launched HealthINSIGHTS to bring together payers, providers, and public health leaders together to discuss and lead the charge in applying social determinants of health data to programs that improve prevention, quality, and access to care.  In addition, Purpose Events partnered with NODE.Health to launch the Digital Medicine Conference to bring the rigor of evidence-based medicine to digital health.  

As the call for affordability and access reaches a new high, the Purpose Events teams is excited to return to their payer and employer roots to bring you Amplify.Health.  Amplify will bring together employers, health plans, benefit consultants and innovators changing the paradigm for healthcare access in the US.
